A delegation from Inner Mongolia University (IMU) in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, visited Fudan University in Shanghai on Dec 12 to expand cooperation between the two universities, according to IMU officials.

Led by Zhu Bingwen, Party secretary of IMU, the delegation participated in a symposium with Zhang Zhiyong, vice president of Fudan University, and the heads of relevant units.

At the seminar, the two sides formally signed the counterpart cooperation agreement.

Officials said it defines the framework cooperation content in terms of development planning, system construction and management operation, faculty development, maintenance of discipline, scientific research improvements, staff training, international exchanges and cooperation.

Before the signing, Zhu talked about the progress in the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities since IMU delegation went to Fudan University on May 12 this year.
